hello, I'm a newbie here and would like an opinion on my website please. Rather than using a ready-made template, I've done the site from scratch and although its up and running there are a few glitches that may need fixing. Other than that, its finished. I mainly need the opinions on:-

EASE OF USE / NAVIGATION
APPEARANCE
WOULD YOU AS A CUSTOMER USE MY COMPANY TO DESIGN YOUR WEBSITE?
ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS?

Nice design! Only I would change the color of the navigation buttons, my feeling is that they don't really match. I would use different kinds of blue mathcing you banner.

Navigation structure is ok, easy to navigate!

thanks monty, but don't you think that by having different shades of blue i'll be making it blenad in a bit too much? can you give me a pic/idea of what you mean when you say different blues?

I don't have an exact picture in my of how I would use the colors, I usually just start working that try to find the right color.

If you feel that using different kinds of blue would blend it all in a little bit too much, you pick another primary, secondary or tertiary color (or two, whatever) and use different shades of that one/those. You could also use shades between basic colors like yellow and blue or yellow and red for exmaple.

But this is all just personal, I just don't use more then three (usually not more then two) "color wheel" colors. Maybe I am a litlle bit too bitchy about the colors but that's just me, don't like the contrast.

Any wich way you go, good luck with it!

Agree with Jon here, the design for the Window tinting site looks awsome!

Only thing I might change is the alignment, personally I'm not a big fan of right alignment. But anyway, nice work!

thankyou! I'm so glad I've joined this website, its just brilliant and so are its members! thanks. Is there anywhere where they show you how to advertise online for your business? Such as email advertising, making business cards etc?

Well, this really hurts eyes. I think the nav colors do not come together, try changing this, other than this, it's decent -- good design, just the colors issue.

it looks a bit small on 1600 by 1200, and it wouldnt fit on a 800 by 600 resolution would it, also, the jpg qual is a bit low, still, gj with it

I really like the design. The colours are great. The only criticism I have, is that once you click a link, it's hard to go to a diffeend section, apart from using the small links on the bottom (which are hard to see. If there was a colourfull bar at the bottom with the rest of the links on it would be easier to use. Just my 2 cents.

I like both designs, easy to navigate and attractive. My only quibble would be the navigation on your design page when you click on a link. It's a little hard to see at the bottom IMHO for the average user. Perhaps you could at least bold it?

After assessing the issues that you guys have mentioned, I'll be changing the following in the short term:-

1.MAKE THE LINKS BOLD - For easy navigation
2. IF POSSIBLE, CHANGE THE COLOURS, ALTHOUGH MY WEBSITE IS ABOUT COLOURFUL DESIGNS - To ease the strain on eyes
3.TRY TO CHANGE THE SIZE SO IT FITS ON 800 X 600, ALTHOUGH NOT MANY PEOPLE USE 800 X 600 resolution - Is there a way I can fit it on 800x600 and also make it large if someone changes it to 1600 x 1200?
