Thank you for your input! Whilst your point is certainly valid, i do think that cash has a lot more pros in comparison to the payment options you mentioned (such as anonymity). And lets be real, the general population are not so savvy in downloading a Bitcoin wallet, knowing what a hash is and so on and so on. Cash too is a lot more anonymous than Bitcoin will ever be (due to the blockchain). Cash is easy and has always been around.

Understood, but less and less people are carrying it. If you are talking about the backstreets of Bangkok maybe not, but developed countries, that are going to pay up for such a name not so much. Like I said, it’s catchy, it has a niche, but also an expiry date, a sale sooner than later will benefit you more.

You think our world isn't already dystopian enough ? BTW Sweden is pretty much cashless nowadays. In other countries, for example Iceland, cash isn't extinct but paying for a cup of coffee by credit card is the norm.
Nonetheless I don't think cash will disappear soon so there is still a window of opportunity.

This name is catchy and would be good for some sort of Craigslist. But like @wwwweb says, it goes against the tide. Also, 'cash only' as a motto limits your reach if it's meant to be enforced strictly. Cash is viable for local, face-to-face transactions. But in the Internet era long-distance transactions are the new norm.

Perhaps a pawnshop could be interested too ?

The crypto point aside, when I appraised it I'm taking into consideration "Cash Only" can have nothing to do with actual cash or specifying a desired form of currency, I've always heard 'Cash Only' being used as meaning "No Credit" or No Credit Needed, the Full Amount needs to be paid upfront (even if not paying with cash). It could be used as a brand for foreclosed/rehab real estate, a car dealership selling used/affordable autos, a forex related business, loans, even a shop selling antique currency...

the same reason they took $1000 bills out of circulation in North America, now you are getting into economics.

It's a big world, and people have ideas, the name has a buyer somewhere, but better to sell sooner than later.

Those are good examples of applicable usage for the phrase.

While I certainly realize and recognize " every day " society becomes less reliant on pure cash transactions, there remain many merchants who prefer the ease of cash to credit card - etc - and, have no knowledge of nor interest in digital currencies.

And agree with all the wise posters who suggested the sooner a buyer is located, the better.

I have a very short domain that has the word cash in it and it gets regularly very high offers (but not quite high enough to induce me to sell). I'm looking for high five figures for this one. It is also one of my top PPC parking revenue sites.

As well, I sold a longer domain with the word cash in it for high four figures earlier this year.

The word cash may mean simply, that you are getting money somehow from whatever the business is. It doesn't necessarily mean just dollar bills or metal coins.

I would agree though that cash followed by the word only is more limiting.

I think it's a good name and worth hanging on to. With government's push for "cashless society" (so that everybody's dealings can be tracked and monitored), resistance to such measures will also increase. There will be more names to differentiate from electronic payment systems, and of them all, this will be an exact match.
