I don't have the main content part done yet, but is the basic template OK? It's my first one using photoshop. And yes, I know the pink color is a bit gross :p , but otherwise?

You are right the color is too dull. I would also take the backgroud out where you are goig to right the content.

The menu should stand out more as well.

dont like it all, cant stand pop ups, nor the pink, nor the site not being centered or the litle yahoo thing in the top right, or pretty much anything about it... as well as the text i can barely read on the left... the links, but good pictures! those are nice

Oh my! That's really pink. You can barely see the nav links. Needs another dominant color like white.

I would change the pink or darken your logo. Bye the way nice photo work!

Too pink! I like the concept, though. Try making the links darker so they stand out!

Thanks for all the advice! I'm working on a totaly different template, the color scheme being predominately a deep red. It has sort of a grunge look. Much more to my liking. I'll post when I get it finished
