Please consult about hotel names

Hi!

Hotel names I believe are trademarked?
I was looking around and noticed that a few people use Latvia's .lv extension as LasVegas, LasVegas.lv e.g. points to visitlasvegas.com.

How about registering Las Vegas hotel names with .lv extension?

I guess they would sue me, right?

Possibly however, most offer you money for the domain if you refuse they then send a c&d/take you to court for the name.

Not really, there is no TM sales records. But I believe 84% of all UDRPs are in favor of the complainant.
