These names are time-sensitive, traffic and monetization are uncertain.
No offense, but I think that is the kind of regs that smell bad taste and are giving us a bad name. Not saying there can be no legitimate use for these domains, but in the eyes of Joe Public you are just attempting to cash in on a tragedy :imho:
Unless you have good deeds plans like raising awareness etc they are probably not worth the reg fee.

2 things are widely regarded as to be avoided in domains, trademarks and illegal stuff.

Add a third to the list:

Profiting off disasters.

Some people do it in the first day and they will always find some sucker to buy their domains, but it is somewhat black hat in my opinion and not necessary...all they want is a quick sale at any cost without caring about the damage they cause.

Try to get a grace delete because they really are not worth anything I don't think.

I posted the same sentiment as the first reply on this thread, and it was removed. I noticed that this is not the first time my posts have been removed. Is this a gliche on Namepros or an action by the mods ? I don't have any Pm's or notifications.

Censorship is fine when warranted, but a ' shoot first - ask questions later ' approach only causes problems.

I would agree that the subject of the disaster domains is short lived because they are specific. By the time a site was built, we would be on to the next big disaster. If only 1 domain was developed as an information resource, it might get some mileage.
