Ok so basically I have followed testingyou's advice (which probably saved me some money) and read around without registering any domains, however, today I just couldn't resist registering the following (don't ask me why) so I would be extremely grateful if I could get a few appraisals and, hopefully, I wouldn't have wasted my money but made a sound investment (i wish)...

First off, thanks Radiator :tu:

Actually gotosleep.org at the time of registering i was imagining more like a gentle, soft, lullaby sort of go to sleep little baby thing hehe. The aggressive-sounding part of it never really crossed my mind. Highlights the importance of thinking over all possible scenarios for your dn before regging I suppose. (Is it worth anymore being nice? :])

Regding fuelcooler.com, I have followed up on your suggestion and read up about pitching it correctly, however, if you have any suggestions you feel are especially important, please feel free to mention them. As you said, I only have one chance at this and don't particularly enjoy messing up good opportunities. Thanks for those links too!

Regarding foredoomed.com and subtended.com, any idea what I might expect if the fruit did some day eventually ripen? Money isn't really all that tight atm and regarding your suggestion of getting an alternative pair emmmm don't think i'd find it that easy really. I tried well over 100,000 single word domains and those two were the only I found which I thought could possible be worth anything (and a couple of others which i wont be sharing for the moment just in case I change my mind abt leaving them)

Just one last thing.. any suggestions on whether parking these domains until I found a buyer would be worthwhile? If you have any ideas on actual cash amounts these could make monthly by being parked (even a rough approximation) pls feel free to tell me. Nearly a year ago I did a sort of personal web development crash course which involved learning a touch of html, css, php, mysql, javascript and even some C and Java just for the fun of it. I've earnt a decent amount doing web development personally and for others since then and now I guess it's domain name crash course :D Point of me saying this.. the more I learn and the sooner I learn it, the better so if anyone has any tips or information or links, please share :hehe: (i'm not really asking for repetitions of what's said on the forums here as I've been reading through most of them and will continue doing so - just the really really important stuff)

Btw, I know it doesn't have much to do with an appraisal thread but, I read something about a 60 day ICANN hold on transferring domains after registration but that pushing them is fine. Should I wait 60 days before attempting to contact any potential end users? Thanks!

gotosleep .org probably works best for sleep disorder topics. I don't think the domain can support a sleep clinic's website though. You are probably looking for someone who can build a forum and things of that nature, but this is extreme niche development and finding such a person won't be easy.

subtended .com is junk.

foredoomed .com is slightly above junk, relying on a gaming site or something.

fuelcooler .com won't net you much since the value is in development. It's not a brand. It's not something that you can build up. It's a single product that you can SEO and hope for the best.

Overall, not a good start. Resellers won't give you much of anything for these, and finding decent end users may prove difficult.
