estibot.com estimates a crazy USD 150,000 - however if this is anywhere near what it is actually worth, I'll eat my actual nano...

lol yes expect the phone call if you try develop it you may end up loosing $150000 however may get a buyer who wont understand trademarks

This is an obvious TM issue here. And it would be better not to show it up in the appraisal section, because this may show some kind of "bad intent", as you think of trying to sell it.

I see there is no content on the domain, so this is ok.

I don't see any buyer that would pay to much for this domain.

Out of curiosity, did you get any interested buyer in the domain yet?

Apple has won the rights to the iTunes.co.uk domain, despite the fact that its owner Benjamin Cohen registered it years before Apple ever had the iTunes music service.

I understand the TM issue. Although does using someone else's TM in a domain name automatically make it an abusive registration, or make the TM holder by default the rightfull owner?

Anyhoo, I have no plans to sell it, or develop it at the moment. I had all but forgotten that I owned the domain until a few days ago. Was just curious as to its value.

Out of curiosity, did you get any interested buyer in the domain yet?

I am not trying to sell it. However saying that, I have not had anyone contact be about the domain, interested in it or otherwise.

Apple has the right to take your domain from you, as it is clearly a TM violation. I'm surprised that they have not yet come after you. If you do anything with the domain, Apple may be able to claim bad faith and even sue you for damages. That said, my advice would be to Cancel the domain and save yourself the hassle. You will never be able to profit from the domain without risking Apple's "wrath". It is not worth the risk. :imho:

For your own protection I have removed mention of your domain from this thread, as companies have been known to use threads like this as "proof" of bad intent, etc. And your posting this in the Appraisal section alone could, in a way, show bad faith.
