domain Please Appraise Xbox360Forum.com (I also have a bid, should I accept?)

I registered Xbox360Forum.com a while ago when there were rumors about the new Xbox' name and it turns out that the new Xbox will be called Xbox 360.

I know of the TM issue here but I thought I could park it on PPC and make $$ until microsoft sent the letter.

So far not many hits but I'm sure the site will start getting hits once the Xbox 360 comes out at the end of the year.

I have an offer of $100 usd right now. Should I take it? Hold onto the name?

I appreciate your thoughts and appraisals.

I think $100 is a good price at this moment. If you don't need $ then you can hold it & wait for a better deal.

Right place right time - but as for the TM issue, you are potentially incriminating yourself (as far as bad faith use goes) by stating outright here that you will profit off PPC until the TM owner contacts you. That might be a problem down the road.

Instead of selling as domain - try and develop it as an independant XBOX 360 fan site... while waiting for the official release. Prepare a marketing and branding strategy (and execute)....

That should give you a better reprieve than simply squatting on it "until Microsoft writes"...

Rob thanks alot for your comments. But even if I do develop it as an independent Xbox 360 fan site, microsoft still has the right to strip the name from me.

I've got a halo forum (in my sig) that could benefit from a redirect in the meantime.

It's a toss up between develop or sell later for me.
