I'm thinking to run a service similar to IMDB, but focused on music. Currently I'm working on the design.

Do you think it worth it?

Way too long. This domain would have a chance with .com but not .info.

Making a site like IMDb is quite optimistic so set a more realistic goal for your development plans.
