Hello Guys, this is my first forray into domaining. Hopefully I made some wise choices, but It would be nice to hear from some of the experts here.

I know from Dn journal that thryll dot com went for 13k at the end of 2011.
Im wondering what the dot net is worth?

Oh also underwearmodel dot net

the sale price of the .com, in general. should never be used to transition/transfer or associate approximate value proportionally or partially, to other extensions with same term or phrase.

imo....

What this guy said. dot-nets aren't worth nearly as much, except I suppose misspellings of famous dot-net domains could be worth something for all the type-in traffic they'd get.

Thanks guys, like I said, I just really started focusing on this last week. I will keep your advice in mind when looking for future domains.

Much appreciated :)

.Nets are a hard sell these days. You either have the .com or you don't
The .com sold for that much because the name is brandable but i wouldn't have registered the .net thinking I was going to sell it for nearly that much.
They might want it in the future but doubt it.
I value it at low $xx
Good luck!

Thank Larry, what about underwearmodel dot net and dot org?

Keep in mind that many sales are one of a kind.
This sale is unlikely to repeat in another extension. In fact, you might even run into TM issues with distinctive names.

Value is $0 unless Thryll.com is feeling generous and wants to throw you a bone.
I'd consider offering them (the TM holders) a trade.. maybe a couple of their product samples for the .net.
