Just saw the thread, my immediate thought was 'Aren't we all!'
Perhaps there would be another route to go with this domain rather than just trying to sell it. If you could spend a day or two researching and developing the domain into a site that compares taxes in different countries on goods and would then spend some time updating the site regularly then I could see some good potential for traffic growth. Even perhaps send a few articles (referencing taxed.net of course) to newspapers, tax forums, radio and tv news, then I could see the site being referenced by these people, and that would start bringing in good quality traffic - and that means good quality advertisers.
The above is just a thought, the site would not need to go into great depth, but just selling it may be the quick turn around profit, but a far greater profit may be able to be made with treating it as a part-time business.
Currently I would agree with 'protectyourself', end user might pay $1,000 - $3,000 for it.
