domain Please Appraise Tattooist.ORG

Got this merely on a hunch, while it certainly is not tattoo I still think it has some potential, what do you guys think?

Its a good name. Much worse extensions (including .tv) are taken. Coincidentally I was considering the .us version today for a quick few dollar flip. The only problem is that its kind of hard to spell.

I can't put a price but it has potential for sure. Good luck.

Exciting domain with great potential. I would say $xxx minimum. I do belive the .org is the best extension for this term and i can see alot of business opportunities for this domain.

Tell me this... if he were to sell the name for lets say $300 right now, would you buy it? I wonder how one would just put the first figure that pops up in their mind???

Sorry Sparhawke, just wondering how some come up with these numbers, raises expectations where one waits for the "XXX atleast" payout and in the process loses more in renewals.

Its a nice name but the org puts the value down. I would say high xx max (realistically 4x) resellers would be a good value for a sale.

Have to agree and although I think that .org has broken out of the stereotypical usage that many domainers hold onto, this is not the right extension for this name.

Firstly my estimate of value is based on an end user value. Reseller I dont think any more than $100-$200, though I generally dont pay this for domains at the moment a more experienced reseller may do.

I think the .org is the perfect extension 1 - everyone wants a trustworthy tatooist. Long gone are the days when .org means just charity etc.

2 - Think of the business potential if you could make a listing of all say UK tattooists and list them on a website, review them etc. I think this also suits the .org extention greatly.

I think this domain carries with it a very good potential to make money which is what an end user wants. and i think $1000 for the domain is not unresonable. Even for a stand alone tattoo business i dont think $1000 is out of their budget.

I may be wrong. Overall though i think the domain is great and tattooist is a great term, which in my opinion (without even looking at keyword search tool) is probably searched more than tattoo.
