Please appraise ruve.com . I recently acquired it. Also please suggest if it would be better to hold on to it for a while and finding a seller or build a website and promote it and then sell it along with some traffic.

With a site you would get more visibility, SEO speaking, and this could be helpful to find a good buyer.

Dont know if I got a deal but I am glad I purchased it as I now have a good brandable domain . Now I just have to wait for a good idea to hit me or a buyer to make the right offer.

Checking a bit more, I think there could be a possible TM issue here ... cause the Spanish real estate company RUVE Promociones (owner since 2000 of ruve.es) regged "R RUVE" TM in 1999, before your domain (2001) ...
Your domain could be considered "confusingly similar" to their TM, according to EU rules ... check here http://oami.europa.eu/ows/rw/pages/QPLUS/databases/searchEU.en.do
Until now they did not act (so it seems at least), but I think they could "if" (maybe they are not interested, but you can never know in these cases ...) they wanted to grab it.

The TM issue is irrelevant as there was no bad faith in the purchase. Very nice domain should serve you well. I think 1-2k is a low estimate of long term value. Its a nice one good luck.

:imho:the fact that the domain was regged despite the pre-existence of a "confusingly similar" TM could show in some way the Registrant bad faith.
I was not referring only to the current purchaser, but also to the previous Registrant/s.
As I said, maybe RUVE Promociones has no interest to grab it, but who knows.
