[Domainace]

This is not an appraisal per se, so please don't suggest a price. I'm not selling.
I am, however, thinking of using Rieq as a brand name for upscale leather/fashion goods. I know it breaks all the rules of domains, but tell me just your gut feeling when you see this name. Does it look elegant, baffling, unattractive?

I feel too close to the name, so I have lost perspective. Does this sound like a high end brand to you?

Seems a bit odd posting in the appraisal thread if not wanting appraisals. Quite honestly, at first glance the name reads and sounds too much like reek, as in [your feet reek]. Or, even reich, as in [the Third Reich]. Neither of which exudes upscale or elegance.

yeah i kind of like it at first glance but then i got reek as well...

It doesn't pass the telephone test very well - you'd be spelling it to people constantly.
