Have you seen that the .org belongs to Sony? i don't know why though.

I also couldn't find trademarks. There is one from a Software Company, but abandoned because of late/no response.

I would investigate a bit and try to contact Sony first.
If they don't want it, i would go for all companies with "Virtual Channel" or "vchannel" included in their domain names
