Although the dot org is a more popular extension, the challenge is that an enduser who even has a modicum of knowledge can get the name for reg fee elsewhere. Often the budget of a budding enduser will demand another extension if it is more cost effective. This seems to be the case here.

I actually like it! Would make a great name for a free stock photo site. If I was starting that business I would pay a couple hundred for it.
