Hello,
The name has a niche and we are hoping it catches fire soon.
Now we need a niche for the web site. LOL
Thanks.

Thanks.
tpruby said:What niche? Google has 1160 hits for the exact term. It doesn't seem like a very popular topic.
Morphmaster said:Not sure if it's a niche or fetish - :p
But I like it ..not moldy toast..but the name.
johname said:is moldycheese.com a successful site? see if there is any compareably molds. (i am too lazy on this to look)
Are you really the founder of moldytoast.com ?
wyattt said:No resale value on this one, unless there is some sort of business out there who sells moldy toast. Or a toaster that makes moldy toast. Or someone with the nickname 'Moldy Toast'. You see, he'll go to parties and people will be all like, 'Hey Moldy, how's the toast treating you today!'. He would buy that domain I think.
Low XX value in toast. I'd probably guess around 15 pieces, but you might be able to get more if you find an end user or if the toast is burnt.
Oompa said:It be good for a humor blog of some sort of something.
Low xx to maybe even high xx.
Good luck!
moldytoast said:Thanks. I think some (very few) have missed the point of the name; however I respect all criticisms.
Devil_Dog said:What's the point of the name?
moldytoast said:Thank you for asking.
The point is simple, it's unique and extremely marketable. It's basically...stunning and when I tell folks the name they are like, "what, tell me that gain." laughing.
Folks are taken back by the name and the unusualness. I spoke with a professor of marketing and he was rolling over the name.
It's name that you'll wake up tomorrow say "moldytoast.com, moldytoast.com". LOL. It's a name of curiosity and people are curious...aren't we?
Thanks,
wyattt said:Sure, it's 'cute', marketable, whatever, but the point of this appraisals forum is to get an estimate on how much the domain might be worth for resale.

abcproductions said:In your opinion it's extremely marketable, in my opinion, it's barely marketable. And stunning describes Rita Hayworth or Jessica Alba...not this goofy domain. Lastly, i don't believe anyone says "tell me that name again...it's so funny".
never heard of moldy toast and have never seen moldy toast. moldy bread...now that's something we can all relate to. (and that's why moldybread.com was registered more than three years ago.)
appraised value for moldytoast.com - reg fee or less. (ask some of those people who love it so much how much they would really pay for it. my guess is they would rather pay for real moldy toast.)
time to change your identity.
nicedomains said:Well, the site doesn't look bad. The idea is funny, but appraisal for the domain reg fee.. good luck though.
Coward said:Yeah, fair enough, but there's thousands upon thousands of equally-random, equally-memorable and equally-original domains out there just waiting to be registered.
Like, er... FROZENPOO.COM for example.
and TOXICFUDGE.COM
Until all of these sort of <ADJECTIVE><NOUN> domains are taken, or until you find a moldy toast enthusiast you're going to struggle to get anything for this domain.
P.S. the website looks lovely ^_^
