Disregarding my dislike of eu domains I would say this is an average domain, you could still pick up similiar quality eu domains (according to overture value). I would actively seek to sell this to a private company, a search in google for the keywords throws up some evident ones and I doubt you'll see TM issues in this general phrase (I would avoid promoting it to medcare.com).

To a reseller - $25?
To the right end user - $50+

AquaTechnics.eu doesnt look as smooth though, the plural form doesnt appeal/look good to me personally. Very little overture.

To a reseller - reg fee
To an end user - $20-$50 if your lucky?

I'd say, given the fact that all major TLDs are taken, plus quite a few lesser TLDs (.cc, .us, .cn/.com.cn, .de) - that it might be worth $100 or so, maybe just above. OVT of 0.5k is reasonable.

That is, if you don't have TM issues.

We are giving you our evaluations on these particular domains due to our past experience, I am glad you got such a high amount for racingworld.eu (strangely ironic name). You are somewhat lucky with the domain aquatechnics.de (check .com also) because they have chosen to purchase off you instead of presenting a trademark infringement case against you, im not sure how far it would get because they only hold the dutch domain.

With medcare.eu you are treading on thin ice, you should read up more on trademark law, simply because you registered it doesnt necessarily mean you have any legal standing with it. Medcare (Domain regged 1998) is an established company and I would take back my judgement of a "general phrase", they could easily win a trademark case against you through ICANN - they dont have to pay you a cent.

Also, you seemed so desperate for an appraisal but you simply swept them aside when I gave you my relative experience on it.

You really don't seem to understand trademarks at all. IF you register a domain with the sole intention of making a profit from the trademark holding organisation, then you are almost certainly going to have said domain taken from you if and when said organisation issues a formal dispute against you.

Sometimes small(ish) companies simply buy the domain, so if that's the case, good luck to you.

You ought to read some of the information on this site: http://www.wipo.int/portal/index.html.en

Thing is, it doesn't actually matter if there is a registered trademark or not. It's the intent of your registering the domain.

As I said, if you get a good price from the .com holders, great for you! Just warning you that there could be issues.

This is what it says on the SEDO site about domains and trademarks.

"The important thing is to know that buying and selling domain names is perfectly legal, as long as the domain being sold does not infringe on the trademark rights of a third party."

I am not saying you purposely registered these domains to profit off the back of these companies. I am saddened by your response to my posts via PM but I will address that tommorrow because its late here and I dont want to ramble on in a reply.

Yes, you are correct, you are free to buy and sell domains just as much as the next guy here but you just so happened to purchase a few (possibly) bad apples. Nothing could arise from this but Trademarks are a complex situation, even if a company doesnt hold a piece of paper saying it they could still fall under "First Use", if they are somewhat well known they could argue a case in court that you sought to profit from their established business by registering a domain on such a precendented TLD such as this. I did in no way mean to insult you, rather to give you a more balanced view on this, you on the other hand have insulted me with your private message.

Fred, I think Flaresolutions has a point :imho: . It's true that you thanked him right at the beginning, but after reading the rest of the post I wonder why you were so insistent on getting an appraisal at all? I'm very happy for you that the German director is interested, but as you didn't mention this at the outset I don't see how anyone was supposed to factor this into the equation (and yes, they could just as well have tried to take it by force).

After the very first response to your appraisal request you immediately state point-blank that you're going to ask 10k Euros and are willing to wait 3-5 years. Again, why then were you so desperate for an appraisal?

Sorry if that comes across as harsh (didn't mean it too) but in any case best of luck with those domains!

I dont know anymore. Anyway sorry to everyone here. I think it's best if I dont participate on the forum anymore. I always seem to end up insulting people without meaning to and just upsetting everyone generally. Goodbye to you all and good luck. This was my last post. :) :) :) :) :)

Just to get us back on topic... I don't think that medcare.eu will get much right now, but give it a few more months, maybe years, when all the good .eu domains are gone, and then I think it will be worth at least a few hundred dollars.

For now, I'd say $50-100... medicare.eu was taken and that sounds like a better domain orally.

Anyway, a pretty good domain IMO.

Fred, for the record I was referring to just one of your posts. Furthermore, I have profound respect for your achievement in getting RacingWorld.eu sold for 1200 Euros. You must be doing something right!

Of course, in the end it's up to you whether to leave or stay (looks like it may be too late, as you're deleting all your posts!), but only yesterday you were saying how caring and friendly this forum was. I don't think you should let a single thread change that... :imho:

Lol! I tryed to get it too so I have nothing to say more than: in my opinion it`s great domain worth more than 1k E now and will be more valuable next years. As there Europe get older medical care will be more and more profitable. So such domains too ;)
