Hi, this domain is expiring in a few days and I was wondering if it would be worth renewing and then trying to sell it? I've never done anything with this domain except set up a placeholder page and don't really plan to do anything with it in the future. How much do you think I could sell it for (if anything)? I feel like it might have some value as a brandable domain in a pretty popular niche but I could be wrong.

This domain has several issues. But let me preface my appraisal with the following paragraph.

Years ago, a lonely computer scientist figured out that otherwise-normal people loved registering domain names and then paying to keep them year in and year out. What this researcher noticed was that the vast majority never actually use these domains but for some strange reason, feel a strong desire to keep renewing them. This anonymous scientist shared this new-found knowledge with his friend Bob, and Bob built an empire on this very unusual human quirk. Then Bob went on to use this financial empire to hire busty models to bring him coffee, feed him grapes, and drive around in expensive race cars so he could watch.

Your domain is too long. I personally think the domain would be much more valuable if you had not elected to use the last character. The "X" (like so often times happens in real life) really drains the life (and every last penny) out of this otherwise perfectly good domain.

I recommend immediate deletion of the domain. Good luck and may the force be with you! (:

makemoneyonline.com without the X is an awesome name and most people would fall all over themselves to get to it. But hitchin' the x-wagon to a money maker doesn't work in this case.

I couldn't agree more with the above appraisal, the "X" kills it, the domain is not worth anything unless someone wishes to buy the name to start a site and compete in the make money online niche.
