This domain rubs sand in the face of my 14-character rule of domains.

This .EU is so long that the visitor who reaches the site should get a free cookie (the kind you eat) for successfully having typed it into his (or her) web browser. If you were going for length you scored.

Reg fee undeveloped. IMO.

Thanks for taking the time to appraise my domain. And you are probably right in your assessment. However, it may be time to review your 14 character rule as it appears to be a little dated. If you automatically dismiss domains over 14 characters you may miss out on some gems. Remember that current and near future relevance are also big factors in the value of domains.
