Hi,

Picked these up. In .org

iClaim
iCourse

Any thoughts?

Lots of organisations with course or claim in org...

Also a question for future; how does ekeyword/ikeyword impact upon value if the word is generic?

For example, I also own eGynaecology(.)com which is I think would be worth a nice bit to a doctor in this field... Haven't had time to approach people yet though.

Thanks.

I wish these were .com, if so I'd say low x,xxx reseller each. As the .org though I'd go 10-20% of that.

As far as which is better it's very subjective.
iClaim I think sounds better than eClaim
iCourse is about equal to eCourse

I do think i is stronger than e if only because Apple has done a LOT of branding to put the i in peoples minds. If the keyword starts with i though I think the e is much better. ie eInformation is better than iInformation.

Problem is brandables don't really work with .org very well. IMO Still, these are nice names.

So achieving $200-300 each on a reseller could be realistic... still a very nice ROI!

I think I'll be aiming at end users anyhow, so we'll see where that goes.

I personally would've thought .org fits these domains, not perfectly, but almost as well as the .com... If it was .net or biz/info it'd make less sense, but .org allows an end user to give off that air of authority, especially for icourse - there are plenty around the form of i-course, i-courses, icourses etc who could all be good end users. I may be completely wrong in thinking that way though.

Thanks much for the reply :)

The only reason I think the .net is better than the .org here is that iKeyword say web and tech a lot more than organization.

I like them, i names have a huge market on a lot of domain forums.

Thanks again.

One final one - what do you think about iHeritage.org?

Similar sort of ballpark or different?

cheers

I came into this thread happy you had iclaim dot com. Then i saw the org. Org makes it so you have to shoe horn it into something like "I claim to fight the green house effect" that kind of thinking. low-mid xx

Highly doubtful IMHO in .org

Maybe mid xx on a reseller board more likely regfee.

This is called counting your chickens before there hatched.

Dont reg more names on the belief names like iCourse dot org is a sure $200-300 dollars in the pocket.

You can easly own a name like this for 5 years and never get an offer just to take it off your hands at cost

Sure, don't get me wrong I'm not counting any chickens at all...

Thanks for the opinions guys, I think these have good potential to the right end user; which is who I shall be targeting.
