I have had a few offers for gemco.com but as I found this forum it would be worth putting out a request for the veterans around here to appraise it.

thanks for the response Giles. I understand that might be the case, but when my client procured the domain a few years back that did not come into play.

assuming that would not be an issue, are there any other suggestions/comments?

It really depends on what the plans are for the name and whether the name was purchased before any trademarks were in place

I remember a department store chain called GEMCO it was our Wal-Mart store at the time. They went out of business in the 80's
