I think since the Patrick branded DNKitchen.com before switching to ChefPatrick.com it probably devalues your name and the potential brandability. Also, I think you you would be better off owning both dnkitchen and domainkitchen.com if you were to start something in the domainspace with that brand.. Just my $.02
Made me think of Patrick, too. (Ironic, since he can't cook.)
Still, he seems to have let the brand go, so it may be doable anyway.
One idea: a domain suggestion tool where the main keyword is the main ingredient, and the tool suggest available names with additional words. Or a site devoted strictly to food, restaurant and cooking domains.
I'm still around. Just been busy broking around $3.5 million in domain sales the last 12 months. :D
DomainKitchen.com is a decent name, I know because I owned it. I intentionally let it drop last year, no need for it. I think the Kitchen/Chef brand is pretty clear.
In all honesty Toni, if you're going to use it DomainAce has the best idea. Use it for cooking/food related domain names. Only downside is most will question if I'm involved and possibly resist the brand when they find out I'm not.
