I grabbed it on a whim... It cost me less than the price of a decent beer and the internet marketer in me always falls for domains like this with hopes of putting up an adsense or CPA site which I never get around to.

Any value here?

The plural would be much better.
Now you are stuck with trying to sell one dieting book.
I would say, a reseller may not pay you much for this domain.
And an enduser would not bother since it is singular.

It is definitely worth zero, and you are definitely out more than just a few bucks. Not only did you give up currency to register this name, but now you are wasting your life talking about it, checking back to see what others are saying about it, and clouding your mind with things that cannot possibly improve your life or lifestyle.

But by all means, try to drag some other human beings down with you, wasting their time talking about a worthless domain name, and clouding their minds with garbage because they happened to have the misfortune to stumble upon this thread.

You might consider approaching five strangers tomorrow and asking them what they think. You might be able to waste a lot more people's time if you really put an effort into it. By the way, even though this name is worse than the plural, the plural would be a waste of time, money, and life, as well. Both are garbage. When they write the history of the business, they will mention Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, and some others. They won't be mentioning the guy who wanted to spend time talking about the domain name DietingBook.com.

So do you just go around bad mouthing every ones names? or what? The amount of time you've probably spent belittling his names/posts and the other ones you've made...for someone who is apparently against "time wasting".
