domain Please Appraise chompie.com, shuttl.com

Owned both of these domains for a short while with all intentions to build them both into startups.

Chompie.com (a play on "Chomp") began as a startup feature and review blog (like KillerStartups.com) and at one point generated thousands of visitors per day. With other projects taking my time and efforts, I've began looking into the possibility of unloading the domain and recouping my time and efforts spent on the domain and website.

Shuttl.com (a play on "Shuttle") was also a planned startup that never made it past the drawing board. I cannot disclose the initial plan for the domain, but I'm sure the unique and brand able "Shuttl" name could be used for a wide array of other online businesses.

Both domains are live and still generate traffic. Chompie for instance still receives around 20-30 startup submissions per day, though it hasn't been actively updated or maintained in several months.

I am considering selling both of these domains (and possibly more) here on NamePros. Happy to have found this place!

Chompie is trademarked in the possessive Chompie's it somewhere between "development value only" and possible trademark problem.

Shuttl brandable? To me a brandable this long needs to be much more pronounceable, regfee Goodluck

Since these are developed websites with traffic, you would probably be better off selling them on Flippa.com, where they buy/sell websites, rather than domain names without content. Strong websites with decent stable traffic tend to get pretty good bids there... and even higher if the domain name itself is very attractive.

As domains without traffic, chompie is interesting, I'd appraise in the xx range, to xxx if someone really liked it and there are no TM issues. Not crazy about the name, but not bad either.
Shuttl is very neat; these kinds of names, with a letter missing (like Flickr) are hot these days, have a nice edge to them. I could see an end user wanting it enough to pay in the high xxx to low x,xxx range, maybe more. I like shuttl a lot. Travel, transportation, vehicles, sports, courier, many uses.

Those are my guess-timates for domains without traffic or development.

I think Shuttl is OK not so good but make sure you develop it else I don't find much value in it.

Chompie.com is easy to say name. Good one too
