I have a client in mind to try and sell this to. I'm torn on developing it or selling it. What do you pros think it might be worth?

Very Good Domain name, i think this name is very useful for naming Deodorants, creams etc..I would value it between 2k to 3k..:D

Nice;
Regged since 1998; regged in many extensions so is obviously attractive to many; blood-shot regged in .com also; and bloodshot is part of the domain string in quite a few websites.

Common dictionary word; lots of dark/underground appeal due to the stark/violent nature of those two words together, regardless of the word's official meaning. That's why it's being used by people in music, design, film, dance, gaming, etc. However my fave use, after a quick scan on google, is BloodshotVodka dot com, ha ha.

Plenty of end users for this one. I haven't seen any HUGE end users in my quick search, no company that would be willing or capable of paying you lottery win prices; but there are enough possible decent end users that I'd probably sell for a rock-bottom minimum of $4K if I owned this one, and that price only if I needed the cash fast. Otherwise I'd hold out for 8K or higher. With a name like this it's a hard call... at the moment I'm not seeing any huge players that would buy it;

However it's such a cool and common word, particularly for rap, hip hop, dance, movies, comics, fighting sports, weapons, I think it's only a matter of time before some studio or media group would offer a sizable chunk of change for it. Personally I'd hang on to it for a few more years, to see what comes out of the woodwork in the form of a large offer from a large firm. At the moment I think a sober price range is mid x,xxx, but I think this one is a perfect mix of both a dictionary word and a brandable, and I think eventually you might be offered well into the xx,xxx range.

Thanks guys for the appraisals. It's probably one of my favorite domains at the moment. I'll probably shop it around for a couple years. My first thought when I got this was comics/video games/movie deal. It's hard to gauge who would want this.
