I just got new domain,beauticat.com.
I got it for my site about cats.

Whatever you do, do not contact them. There's a decent chance they may contact you in the future. Don't put anything directly relating to cat litter on the first page of the site if you develop it. Good luck.

I am pretty sure if you post on your website "This website is not affiliated or related to BeautiCat trademarked company" and there wont be any problems. Same thing happened to a Xbox 360 domain, just conntacted Microsoft and they said "Leave a note on the website that says that you are not affiliated or related to us and there wont be a problem."

Do not do that. Do not mention anything about the company that makes Beauticat litter or mention anything about the product itself, even if its just to say that "this website has nothing to do with it". Do not contact the company at all. Any acknowlegdement of the trademark is going to lead to trouble for you. Good luck.

Yeah I'd just act like I didn't know if they take the time to contact you.

However I don't think a kittylitter company is gonna really waste the time and money to bother you with such an issue.

It has a nice ring, however even without it being trademarked, I would appraise it around low $XX, if developed, price could easily be alot higher.
