domain Please Appraise Auction Buy

Hi,

I just picked up this domain at TDNAM Auction, could some of the more experienced forum members give me a rough value on it.

The Domain is: http://www.RidCancer.com

Some of the reasons i bought it was its listed on all major Search engines and has a good deal of backlinks.
Also according to Sedo where i have parked the domain for now, it has a PageRank of 2 also.

Please could anyone give me an idea of the value so i can work out if my 1st auction buy was worthwhile, Thanks in advance.

I'm not one of the more experienced members, so I won't give you an estimate, but I'll give my 0.00002 worth as long as no one else is commenting.

The keywords are nice although I don't see many people searching for the exact term. Overture doesn't return any results for "rid cancer" and google only has 29,000 pages for that term. However the URL seems to be indexed by google, which is good. There may be even some traffic from a previous site?

I would develop that site a little bit, for cancer news and such ,and then sell it when it's got some traffic. Good luck to you

Thanks Josh 1 for your views, i got to say i agree with what you said about it having great keywords but overture is terrible.

I expect there to be some traffic from a previous site but i just got hold of this domain today so will need to wait a few days to see traffic.

I think a Minis site will be sest way to go for this domain as i've heard disease/medication advertisements pay very well though im not sure i have time to get this set up as my gambling site takes up all my time right now.

If anyone else could give me their view on value please, i really want to see if this was a good buy to help me decide on best strategy on buying future names.

I agree with Josh 1.. not likely for type-ins without development and branding.. awkward sounding.

I hope to have some news on the traffic soon as this domain was used before i bought it, it has many backlinks so im hoping traffic will be good.
