If salon's actually have a domain name, then it's usually Salon-Name.com I don't think any new salon would actually want to CALL themselves WhyShave. Maybe it could be the name of a laser service, but for something as high tech and expensive as laser hair removal, the name "whyshave" doesn't inspire trust.
It just sounds gimmicky. As far as usage, it seems like it's a better fit with those late night informercials for something like SmoothAway, a bladeless hair removal system. It just has that gimmicky informercial vibe.
There's 875 domains on Sedo with "shave" in them and only ishaver.com, shave.de and some adult domains with "shave" have bids. Like any made up brandable domain, there's always a tiny chance some company wants to use it and must have it, in which case you could make a sale, but you gotta be in it for the long haul. As it is, I don't see a whole lot of value , you can't quick flip a name like this, just hang onto it, cross your fingers, and start regging more names.
