There's a PSX coming out in the US in a few years (it's already out in Japan) so I was wondering what the value is now and what I could fetch in a year when people have heard of it...

Yeah... PSX stands for PlayStation X (I would assume, anyways)...

Seems like it has some potential, but most people don't really think of PSX as standing for PlayStation X. You also have severe TM issues w/the PlayStation name.

Yeah and the info domain doesnt really fit a shop or something just information is what would exspect from a .info site.

I'm new to this... but did you just say I'd have to hold on to it BECAUSE of legal issues, or were those 2 separate statements, meaning I need to hold onto it for it to have any value?

I would start a playstation "Fan" site and make it look like it's being used in good faith. Make screen captures of the site and and hand out free e-mail addreses to people along with a disclaimer at the bottom of the site. Put a "not to be confused with the Sony Playstation; its' site is here (link)". Might harden you against a UDRP if it should ever come about. Killer domain!

Actually PSX is a different device:

Surely the PSX is going to be pricey. Sony electronics have always had premium price tags. Just keep in mind all you're getting in one box: access to the enormous library of PS2 games, a DVD recorder, a personal-video recorder, and a TV tuner. That's a ton of functionality that many people want or need. Electronics companies have been touting the rise of set top boxes for years, but the PSX looks like the first one worth owning.
