can I get your opinions on the following names, both .co.uk

playstationforum.co.uk

xbox360forums.co.uk


What are your views, apart from the fact that they are .co.uk extensions.

I was thinking of setting a forum up for them.

A quick Google search shows 15,900,000 for the search term "Playstation forum", so that must be a good thing, isnt it ??

Can I ask which of the two you think is the better ??

Nice catch my friend...

At first I thought it was a no brainer, of course, Playstation Forum, right? However, after some research I noticed that Xbox has higher sales in the UK and considering the fact that the 360 will have this holiday season all to it’s self it looks like you may be sitting on a huge winner with xbox360forums.co.uk.

My advice would be that if you currently have the time put most if not all into the xblox360, in an effort to be ready for the holidays. If you have the members by the time hits it’s peak popularity you may be able to set your own price for it.

P.S. PlaystationForum might be the better one long term but it can wait a few more months, IMHO. Good luck…

I honestly had no idea that the xbox was the better seller in the UK. That sure makes it seem worth developing something with both of them. As you say, the Xbox360 should be out by xmas, so I guess I should work on that one first. Then the new playstation should be out, so I can get around to doing something with that.
