Nearly all sites focus on php hosting... BUT if you want to do something nice (and potentially make some earnings)....
Find hosts that support specialized php libraries and promote them.
I spent a while trying to find a host that supported PHPMotion for example. There are a number of similar things needed that not all providers support. A tabular reference would be nice.
If you actually setup a hosting comparison site (even as a wiki) you could get some interest. It's highly competitive but PHPHost would be a memorable site if it got off the ground.
15 uniques a day (if not whois/crawlers etc) is not bad for not doing anything.
With a little effort you could get $150 or so... but I think there's potential for some earnings on this.
With regards to the .info. I actually thinks it would work with this extension.
