Could someone please give me a good appraisal or two on www.php.vg

Whenever I see the .vg extension, I think "Video Games!".

I really have to admit that although I like it, I don't see too much interest in php names. I am holding onto some myself. And, unfortunately, this name does not lend itself well to the Video games idea.

Certainly, some php coder may be interested, but I don't see a lot of value because of the extension.

But if the name has traffic, then you are doing as well as the traffic is... which could be pretty good. Afterall, they use php in VG as well, I am sure.

Certainly it's worth something, but as it is a more obscure extension it's hard to say how much without knowing how much traffic it is getting.

Oh, I also meant to tell you, I went to the website link in your sig... Urban someting? WOW! The print is so tiny I can't read it. Just thought I'd mention that, because I wouldn't, I couldn't, bare to stick around there.

What resolution are you viewing?.. I am running 1024 x 768

1024 is XP default, isn't it? Or is it 800x600, still? I am only one res up from 1024x768 (if I am to retain the same aspect ratio).

We had to code in such a way to serve the "majority" Sadly that is still a toss up between 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768 ... I felt with more monitors a little larger these days 1024 x 768 was sufficient.. It does look a little better at that size than what you are viewing and thanks for mentioning it
php.vg Is highly developable which is where the value would come in I assume as Traffic is easy to aquire if one can properly search engine submit / seo and the site has some very good content. Overture on php is high... I am Just looking for an average value really on something like this with the idea that I may or may not sell it.

It's really exotic TLD so you may have branding problems if you intend to use it.
For instance whois.sc call themselves 'whois source' but .vg ? I have no clue.
BTW whois.sc are rebrading themselves as domaintools.com...
php.us would be perfect to US-based PHP users, php.vg would do for Virgin Island users... I'm not sure there are so many people on the islands and I am not even sure they heavily use their own TLD.
My verdict would be mid-$$ undeveloped.

hrmmm Personally I don't agree much with the low value but that's just my own opinion .. Perhaps I'll hold it and make it in too something big
