PHP Header not keeping it's size

I was messing with my header to 'fix' it and, naturally, I messed it up.

When I look at it on my end, it looks just fine, but when I publish, the drop down boxes are all askew.

I don't know if I can post the link to it or if there's a part of the code, but it's in the includes section.

Is there a general area that I can look at to try and fix it? I had another site too that had set dimensions and then it too is now taking up the whole screen.

If this isn't the place to ask this, then I apologize. I had someone else make the site and I am a cut and paste kind of gal.

Thanks!

allways back up files before making changes! :)

this sounds like conflicting CSS/stylesheet issues to me.

could you contact the person that designed your site to see if they have a backup?

welcome

That person is long out of the picture. I did have a backup, but I hadn't noticed the problem right away, so I don't know that I have one that doesn't also have the error.

I'll look.

Other than finding the back-up, is there something I can look for in the stylesheet that would make a difference?

Thanks so much.

if you posted a link to the website or some other way for people to see the code, we may be able to help you more.

otherwise it could be a number of things, but be suspicious of things like padding, margin, or position

My domain is www.ulcseminary.org. I would appreciate any help I can get.

I have a feeling that when I 'fixed' something on it, I deleted something important.

Thanks.
