Php captcha needed (Public domain)

Hi all i am in need of a public domain captcha code as my website is under heavy attack from spam bots and need a system.

And i don't want to use GPL code as then i have to GPL the rest of my work which i really don't want to do, i prefer my own license.

Any help would be grand!

Thanks guys, i implemented recaptcha and it was so easy, implemented it on www.altercoder.com register system in 5 minutes :D
