Photoshop help

i have just purchased photoshop cs2, the reason for this was to hopefully create banners and logos in it but at the moment im stuck, could someone please tell me how to use it creating banners and logos like you see on here all the time.

You don't want to know how to "create banners and logos" - you just want to learn photoshop.

Search for tutorials, buy some books, training DVDs, maybe take a class or two at a local college.

I used to go to good tutorials until they basically sold out and filled their site with a bunch of unwanted and un needed ads. Pixel2Life has more and discretely advertises, which is nice. I would definately use Pixel2Life!
