Hey,

I have a gradient applied on one of my images, but once I save it into .png/.gif/.jpg/.whatever, the gradient no longer stays with the image. How do I get the gradient effect to stay with the image after it has left .psd format?

Save the PSD as _01 or something so that you still have the original, then flatten the image so that it has only one layer, then use the save for web and save as .jpg should do the trick :)

You would think so, but for some reason, it doesn't.
-That's actually what I tried, but once I click "Save for the Web" - it shows up without the gradient on it anymore.
...or, if it is still on, it has been darkened and is barely even noticeable.

I've tried saving in the highest quality formats/etc as well, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
-I swear, between this and my .PNG transparency issue, I've had some rotten luck lately.

:(

mmm, do you have PhotoShop 7? I agree sometimes there are some strange things happening in CS, I still us PS7 :)

hmmm... I'm not too sure about the problem, maybe you can show us the image? Or I guess you could try to go back to ps7, because cs is kinda messed up...
