Photopost Gallery Placement of Google Adsense Request

I would like some help from someone to help add some google ads to my gallery and classifieds section to help increase revenue to my site.

Something similar to here
http://www.defencetalk.com/pictures/index.php with placement on a left column and above or below photos.

I would also like my gallery and classifieds section tidied up a bit and made to look a bit more professional
