Hey, everyone. I'd be thankful for your honest appraisals and opinions.

What do you think about those two?

reg fee imo. These need to be .coms and even then I would think not much value. To vague as word combos.

Thanks @EHGdomains for your appraisal. But do you think that the fact - that GlobalShop.com was sold for 8k in 2006, while PhotoEdit.com was sold for 3.7k in 2017 and for 1.8k in 2016 - makes any difference?

Your comparing apples to oranges. Anything other than the .com on names like yours will trade at a small fraction of the .com. I would also have to see if the sold .coms had any traffic/revenue ever developed on them. Generally, my rule of thumb is to not register lower tlds on already sold .com unless they are a very strong keyword or exact match niche.

I'll give you a freebie. EditPhotos.net is currently available. Good search and CPC. You could build a nice site around it and I think you would find it rank faster in Google than your .co

...or simply be worth $0 because there is no buyer.
These names are not so bad, but the demand for .co domains is nowhere near like .com.

As an example of demand, photo.co and edit.co would be great domains for a speculator b/c every logical tld is taken or requires a premium renewal fee.

Why would someone pay a premium for PhotoEdit.co, when you can pay reg-fee in another extension?

Thank you @mr-x I got your point, but I'm now a little confused. Would you please clarify more? If .com .net .org .co.uk .info .in .me .xyz are either taken or being sold for at least mid X,XXX and there are hardly available "known" extensions at reg-free. Wouldn't that make the .co somehow valuable? What are the options for an end user except maybe a cheaper option, which is the .co?

1) Let me ask you, what makes photoedit.co better than:

photoedit.biz
photoedit.blog
photoedit.club
photoedit.site
photoedit.io
photoedit.design
photoedit.cam
etc.

2) Don't confuse speculation with demand. How many of those gtlds are being used vs how many are for sale?

3) Also, if I can't get photoedit.co, will editphotos.co work? Yes. What other tlds is Edit Photos ( which is the natural word order ) available?

Wow, EditPhotos.co isn't registered.

4) Google the word order:
"edit photos"
About 3,210,000 results

"photo edit"
About 1,600,000 results, most of the results are actually "photo editor"

Spend some time learning what a premium name is and how to estimate the demand for that subject.

Resist the temptation to buy a domain b/c it's only $10 or you can't find something better.

You can check all available and taken tlds at iwantmyname.com

1) I thought no reputable site would use .biz .blog .site .design .cam. Besides, some of them are not a good match for Photo Editing website i.e blog.club.cam

2) Sorry. I'm not sure whether I'm getting this point.

3) & 4) I see! You're right. Thanks a lot for pointing that out

Maybe, maybe not. Buy I can still buy EditPhotos.co.

Real demand is from end users using the name, not domain investors buying and hoping ( speculating ) someone will want their gtld.

Now, I get it! Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. Do you recommend a certain way to learn how to estimate the demand, or one just acquires that by watching what sells? (last question)

I just explained how. Who owns the other tld's of the name your looking at? End users or domain investors?

There are many more things to consider but that is what I use the most.
