It isn't, it's a branch of pharmacology; however the right word would be pharmacogenomics.

Well, you are right in that the actual term is pharmacogenomics. Hmm...may be its more of an offshoot of genomics rather than pharmacology. It essentially means persoanlized medicine .... the name is more like "genomic" , "bioinformatic" and the likes.

Genomic is concept, like adjective. "Genomic Pharmacology" for example, contrary to "Pharmacological Genomics".
