I just regged petcrematory.info and .us with the intention of developing them.

My big question is if I will be able to get any traffic to the domains. I would appreciate your comments. Rep (not trader feedback) will be left for thoughtful AND thorough comments.

petcrematory.info is the better one I think. I'd say mid $xx for it non-developed. I'd say the .us could bring in maybe low $xx. The .info extension fits for the name I think, but the traffic will depend on how well you develop and market the domain(s).

.info - mid $xx (used for general information pertaining to the subject)
.us - low to mid $xx (used for a directory of pet crematory services or location. Heck, can even be developed into an online store for the US market).

I think you definitely could get traffic to your developed domain (as a side note, I do agree that petcrematory.info is the superior domain). Google results for "pet crematory" gave me 16,400 results, which seems good for this niche domain.

My question to you would be what type of development are you planning for the domain? Are you thinking about developing it as a learning website for those who want information about pet cremation? Planning on making a directory of pet crematories in the US (there's a list of the US ones here: http://www.nepanetwork.com/keepsakes/petcem1.htm). Or are you planning on making it an all inclusive portal?

One thing that I noticed is that many of the websites in this niche are poorly designed, and just judging by the aesthetics, I would guess that the top 10 in Google results have not had much SEO work done. I think with a well designed site, you could pull a significant amount of traffic in the niche and make the top 10 search results. Also, if you have a professional looking portal, I would imagine that all of the pet creamatories who currently have websites would want to link to your site as well as be listed on your site.

With good results on Overture and WordTracker, I'd say both would be mid $xx undeveloped. But as you said, you are intending to develop them, so that would be good, and these would definitely cost higher once developed.

I think traffic on petcrematory will depend on quantity of animals died per day, adn quantity of animals owners, who wants to use a crematory for their pets .
