I'm sure this name will have value in the future, but how much? And what about value at the moment?

Thanks,

Present value: mid to high xx, undeveloped, as this is still a really new field.. tho I expect this is the sort of emerging tech domain that could really "pay the bills" in the future, maybe to the tune of low xx,xxx! Hurt only by extension.

Hmm. Wasn't there a Schwarzenegger movie that had pet cloning? The 6th Day maybe? The company was called RePet, I believe. Perhaps you should pick that one up also.
I would say presently $20ish, but if you get very lucky and technology and legality advances rapidly ( we're already way behind, Blade Runner was set in 2019, so we've got some catching up to do) then you might have a shot at some value.
Good luck!

We had a lady here in the Bay Area that just paid $50K to have her cat successfully cloned. She said it was the best money ever spent!

Long term hold. Not quite as long as "discounttimemachines.com", but still a long-term hold!

Best regards and good luck!

Yep names like that all depend on the future. If cloning really takes off, you got yourself a nice name. Good luck.

Hey, thanks. I wouldn't have got the name if I hadn't heard about the American woman who cloned her cat for $50,000. I think cloning animals is legal, as I've heard of a few famous cases. Thanks for the comments everyone. But is it really only worth mid xx now?

I think so, because it's a new tech and it's hurt by the extesion.. if the UK becomes the leader in the field, that may change.. .com would be better.. .info too!

The .com would certainly be better, but I'm not sure about the .info. I don't know anyone who instinctively types in .info, but in the UK, all my family and friends will try the .co.uk of a name before the .com when surfing. Also, biotech pays highly per click, so we'll have to see how it does.

.co.uk is one of the hotest markets i for 1 would never type PetCloning.info before .com and .co.uk so i think the extesion is great. I would hold on to this name for a few years and hope something big happens

Uhhh... Thats a wierd name....

I would say Low XX, I don't see what use this could be except info on cloning pets, which is not a huge topic....

Sell it end-user to an insane lady who will pay 50K to clone her cat.

If it gets traffic then I'm sure a UK firm offering the service would be interested... The technology is new so I'm sure prices will fall attracting more customers and making this a more common occurrance.

Worth is around mid xx.... but if they start offering this service then you could be into big buck$!

This service is available in certain places.

CNN said:
Genetic Savings & Clone, the company behind Little Nicky's cloning, said the Texas resident stored her old cat's tissue in its gene bank, according to the report. And when Genetic Savings offered clients the chance to reproduce their precious pets for a price, Julie signed up.

Genetic Savings is the only company to offer cloned pets to paying customers, and five people have signed up this year for what it calls its "Nine Lives Extravaganza" -- the chance to clone a cat for $50,000, company spokesman Ben Carlson told the paper.

So they really clone pets, to regular people.

*Mental note* Ask these people how many heavy things fell on their head before they came to the conclusion that they had to clone their pet. For 50K.

Heres an idea, when you want a pet, go to the pound. You can get a cat for $30 and a dog for $50 (It varies but thats about what it is), much cheeper then $50,000. <----- That was a note to all people who would actually clone their pet.

Well if people really clone their pets then maybe it will be worth something soon. As for now I don't see it going much past Low XX.
