Persistent Site Music?

Hi all. I was just wondering if there's any way to get a music player or something for a site that allows you to play persistent music that doesn't start over every time you switch page.

It also wouldn't kill anyone if there was a mute button, but that's optional in this particular case.

it'd either have to be in a popup, an iframe, or have the rest of the content load via flash/ajax.

I would highly recommend a mute button as many users, including myself, would find the music very annoying after a few minutes.

Same here, but the client doesn't want one.

Hmm, I see. So, I could create an IFrame and just load the site through that, so that the music plays outside of it?

It all depends on what you want to do. But this http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=jw_mp3_player is pretty good and flexible. But otherwise programs like Director has built in functions for this.

yea, you should have an iframe at the top with the music player on, then a bottom iframe with the site in.

it might mess up your SEO a bit, but its probably the easiest way to do it.
