I personally like this domain a lot which is probably bad for you. I think it is great. I do think that unless you plan to start a dating website, this is a domain that functionally speaking will need to become a sister site to one of the bigger dating sites.

Bad for you because the more I've liked a domain the less the name pros have liked it. I was trying to be funny in a sense!

I really do like the name though!

I love new gTLDs, and I see what you mean with people.dating...it is kind of "people are dating", but somehow I do not feel the name.

I think in .dating good combos would be with adjectives, something like
hot.dating
speed.dating
usa.dating
..etc

But I guess it is just personal view. Someone might like this connection, in this case I would expect anything between midXXX-lowXXXX in 2017, but probability of resale is rather thin, imo.
