Penny Shares

Anyone ever had any luck with penny shares? I picked up around $200 worth of qxl.com shares around 5 years ago, then the next week they did something that effectively made them worth less than the cost to sell them........so I threw away the share certificate. Up to today I still thought that they were worthless but decided to make a few calls just in case as money is tight. To my surprise they are now worth around $16,000k. The replacement certificate is around $100. Interested to know if anyone here has had any luck with penny shares or if anyone has any tips on which penny shares to buy at the moment.

No tips on penny shares, but that's one good point about how time rewards those who wait (or at least, revisit old share certificates). This is also true whether you hold on to domain names, or if you bought and held on to old Apple shares.
