I would like people's opinions on the skin for the forum (that is what i created). And what you think of the forum in general (as in number of categories to chat in and such).

Forum review

Hi. First of all, I like the template. The dark blue colours are good, the logo is stunning, the forum buttons look nice. Second, the forum and categories structure is well done. Third, you need more members in your forum.

The Bad

• Favicon - The favicon doesn't match your overall site. This is bad because people will not associate your site if they bookmark it.
• Color scheme - The color scheme of your site really doesn't flow. I think you should incorporate a bit more color into the site.
• Skin - Also, I think you should get a skin that is unique and symbolizes your site. Without a unique skin everyone will think of your site as basic, which in turn makes you look basic, which in turn keeps people from coming. You have to have something eye opening.
• Logo - I remember seeing this tutorial to make the exact same logo. You need a unique logo, once again to uniquely identify your site.
• Icons - The Mario icons are really not relevant to the site (I mean they are because of gaming...but it isn't specifically a Nintendo or Mario forum). I think you should get, once again, custom icons.

The Good

• Fast load - The site loads fast.

Overall
I really think that you need to skin this site up. I mean the forum looks functioning and such, but it just doesn't look that good visually.
