Where do you find a mutual fund with a 13% yield????

Anyway the thing that strikes me odd is that if the deal is not concluded why start shouting about it.

If I was the buyer and read this thread I would back out of the deal.

You bought Payables.com for $270k in 1996? Your claimed resale aside, that was a horrible purchase considering the year.

Here are what some famous names sold for in 1997,
Business.com $150,000
TV.com $15,000
Porno.com $5,000
Television.com $50,000
Men.Com $15,000

The same $270k could have gotten you every name I just listed. Why waste it on something as mediocre as payables.com? Sounds like a story to me.

I remember when business.com sold for $150k. That price range being spent on a domain name was absolutely unheard of for the time.
