Would like some understanding if anyone knows.

Say you have a financial domain parked,
and one of the ads is for a credit card.
If a user clicks on that link and applies for a credit card
- who gets the credit?

Thanks

Hi Wendy,

By credit, are you referring to credit being granted to the new credit card applicant/person who clicked?

Or do you mean the payment for the click?

If it's a legit click, then whether or not the person applies for a credit card, or if he does apply and is/isn't successful at getting credit, you should get paid.

Hopefully this answers your question?

What you are referring is somewhat like affiliate marketing. Where you are paid when someone purchase something via your links or promotion.

IF a person clicks any add and it may be for the worlds costliest product.
You are only paid for the click, sometime which might be very less compare to result of that click which could end up as user buying something.

This is Parking. Where you are only concern is click, a legitimate click

Hi 3D, yes.

This as well, just as a regular click/unique to the parking page?

ok, just not sure how that works.
Is there a bonus for someone applying through my site in addition to the click?
or is it one in the same?

:)

I understand the concerns, and the reference to the affiliate.
Which would mean banners/ads on something I've created to put them on.
Wanted to know how it worked with parked ones.

Hi 3D, yes.

The bank/credit card company grants the credit card to the person who clicked, and pays for the click on the parked page. This is where they stop paying. So even if that new customer is a shopaholic and spends thousands weekly, the only revenue you will see as a result of that click is the amount for that one click.

If it's a parked page, then it is just the click. But I think what you are looking for is a program which allows you to benefit from "referring" a visitor on your page to them and benefit from future spending of the referral. I am unsure if such programs exist especially relating to credit cards, but in that case, the site would need to be developed. I know there are guys who go the affilaite route in a particular niche, but then have to manipulate certain stats which these affilaite companies look for, e.g. Alexa Rank, Location of Vistors, etc. So they manipulate these and increase payments per referral/sale from $x to $xx.

ok, just not sure how that works.

:)

The bonus would only apply to those affiliate situations. Unfortunately, with a parked page, the payment is limited to the click. Would be cool if parking provided a bonus to the click. :)

It is parked [VooDoo.com], and it was better than just a click :tu:

Thanks for your help :hearts:
