hi all,

just testing our parked.com, am loving the realtime reports and templates. i am noticing all the rate per clicks are defaulted at .29. is this normal? i heard these are just estimated until officially priced.

my question is when are they officially priced in and is every click defaulted at .29 per click?

i'm new to this but basically it costs me $ .52 cpc to do the namepro$ campaigns. but i tested out one of my domains that bring in 1.09/click and it too also defaulted to .29 a click so i assume this is just a default thing and not a real indication of the true cpc

I think what Run said make sense if you have high paid keyword which used to pay you more than their default yes your losing but also if you have buch of domains and all stay at their default i think your on good position because not all of your domains will pay you 0.29/click .

So basically you are advertising a parked domain to drive traffic to it? That's against every parked websites rules.

i'm experimenting right now, as i said, i am just starting out here.

i plan to develop the whole network of sites but need to get an idea of which parking services are optimal for which brand of sites.

can you suggest some other ways to drive traffic to parked sites? i'd appreciate it. i'm a total newbie at this but we all are in the beginning, right?

old links: expired.com use to be a website, you register and the old traffic still comes

Domain owner may not re-direct traffic to their parked domain name. This prohibition includes, but is not limited to, traffic redirected from other domain names, traffic originating from advertising and purchased traffic such as pop-under or exit traffic. Each domain name must be parked separately.

Domain owner may not generate traffic to their domain name(s) or clicks on advertising links by any of the following methods: listings on newsgroups or discussion boards (with the exception of "domain for sale" postings), bulk emailing, ICQ postings, or chat room/IRC postings, iframes, zero pixel frames, hitbots, clickbots, spiders, CGI scripts, java-scripts, or any other similar method.

Inability to comply with any of the terms of the User Agreement or the Parking Program Rules will forfeit any unpaid earnings and result in the termination of Domain owner's Parking Program account. Further legal action may be taken in response to such violations as well.

# All other types of traffic including bought traffic, traffic driven by PPC campaigns, traffic directed from hyperlinks are not permitted. If your traffic originates from any sources other than type-in and search engine traffic, you will not be entitled to payment as per this Agreement. Regular checks are carried out and we reserve the right to suspend any domain from our Service at any time, on our sole discretion, if we reasonably believe that you have violated this Agreement; for example, if we suspect that the traffic on your domain is bought, generated or redirected in any way that contravenes these terms and conditions. You may view your parked pages to ensure they are correctly set up, but you may not click any of the advertising links.

May i suggest something?

If you still want to buy/sell traffic, then start an ad network like Bidvertiser or Clicksor

one last question. once i add content to the sites as i am experimenting with whypark.com, then can i buy traffic and/or link the site for traffic on other sites?

Whypark is not a parked page but instead you are purchasing a website, a generic one but a website nonetheless. You can buy links or traffic as you wish on your own web-site.

Can you tell me which site of domain parking program that allow purchase/drive traffic to a domain ?

Parked allows you to send google traffic to it as well as all Yahoo based providers.
