Hello,

I parked my domain name csnoobs.com at sedo 9 days ago and it has gotten over 600+ visits with 200+ being today only.

I would like to know if there's anyway of telling where these hits are coming from? When i click on statistics it only shows the number of hits and clicks.

Thank YOU!!!

Yes, but Sedo will not give you the stats. Try parking it at NameDrive for a few days and you will be able to see where the traffic is coming from. For an even better analysis, host the domain and you can look in your awstats.

Ya i find it strange sedo won't tell you where hits are from (as far as my knowledge goes)

whenever I get curious on traffic, i switch it to my host for a day and check AWstats like fonzie_007 suggested and then switch it back depending on the traffic

Hi - if you go to the sedo parked page you will see a link called
Analyze the domain: csnoobs.com at the bottom of the offer page.

This goes to www.urltrends.com which shows the following info for your domain - it shows you have about 213 incoming links to your domain.
It must have been previously reg'd if you have just got it ??

Current Rankings:
PageRank: 0/10
Alexa Rank: 1,842,816

Incoming Google Links: 0
Incoming Yahoo Links: 171
Incoming MSN Links: 42
Incoming Alexa Links: 0
Overall Incoming Links: 213 (Overlap is possible - Estimated 185 unique links)

Thanks GUYS!!!

When i was hosting the domain most of the hits the domain name was getting were direct hits.

I have a question can a domain that is parked get it's PR higher. I mean will PR go higher on number of hits it gets?

Thank YOU!!!

As far as I understand PR is based on - Good content & good Incoming links, I think a parking page is not likely to get any PR - IMO :guilty:

If you upgrade to SedoPro they do indeed show you where your visitors are coming from, links, etc, and the country's of origin.

I learn something new each day. I may have to look into it.

These are some of sedopros's terms

What are the minimum requirements for joining SedoPro?
SedoPro requires you to have a minimum of 200 domains or $200/ month in domain parking earnings in order to join. In addition, we also will examine the quality of your traffic and the domains in your portfolio, and in some cases even portfolios meeting the minimum size requirements may not qualify for membership in SedoPro. If you do not meet the SedoPro requirements, we encourage you to consider Sedo's standard domain parking program,
